Job Description
Lead new business acquisition for overland transportation (FTL, LTL, cross-border, domestic), developing strategies to grow market share in trucking, ground freight, and detention-related services. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, tenders, and proposals while hitting revenue and margin targets through proactive planning. Build and maintain strong shipper, carrier, and key-account relationships; conduct regular business reviews to identify upsell opportunities. Serve as primary escalation contact for detention, demurrage, delays, and service failures; track detention time, minimize cost exposure, and implement processes to reduce detention charges and waiting time. Train internal teams and customers on detention policies and contract compliance.
