Job Description
We are hiring a Linux System Administrator for Datamatics Technologies to manage and secure enterprise servers. Full-time, remote role requiring 7–8 years of Linux/Unix administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Solaris, AIX). Responsibilities include installing and maintaining servers, applying updates and kernel upgrades, monitoring performance and security, automating tasks with Bash/Korn/Perl and Ansible, troubleshooting OS/hardware issues, configuring storage/LVM/NFS and virtualization, implementing backups and recovery, and maintaining accounts and compliance. Required skills: strong shell scripting, automation (Ansible/Puppet/Chef), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls), and monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus). Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
