Job Description
Key Responsibilities (General Manager Sales):
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and market share expansion in the South region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across projects, corporate, and trade segments while strengthening brand positioning with key stakeholders.
- Manage strategic relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and corporate clients, and lead negotiations for major projects and long-term agreements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales, corporate sales, and trade teams by setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and fostering a strong results-driven sales culture.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments, and provide actionable market insights and recommendations to management.
- Coordinate with supply chain, finance, marketing, and after-sales teams to ensure smooth execution, accurate forecasting, order planning, and timely collections.
- Prepare regional sales forecasts, budgets, MIS reports, and track pipelines, win/loss analysis, and overall revenue performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, ethical sales practices, and all compliance and governance requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, systems, and applications
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to manage high-value accounts and complex projects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or Business Administration
- 12-18 years of experience in HVAC sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong network with consultants, contractors, and developers in the South region
