Job Description

Job Title: Female Merchandiser / Coordinator

Industry: Textile / Fashion E-Commerce (Women’s Clothing)

Location: Karachi

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with designers, production team, and vendors to execute women’s fashion collections.
• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per design and cost requirements.
• Place and follow up on purchase orders with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor production timelines, sampling, and bulk manufacturing schedules.
• Ensure quality standards are met for fabrics, stitching, and finished garments.
• Maintain cost sheets, bill of materials (BOM), and production records.
• Coordinate fitting sessions and implement required changes.
• Liaise between buyers, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth order execution.
• Track order status and resolve any production or quality issues.
• Support pricing, margin planning, and product costing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile / Fashion Design / Merchandising (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience as a merchandiser in a women’s clothing brand or garment unit.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes.
• Understanding of e-commerce fashion operations is a plus.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic costing.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
