Job Description

Position: Estimation Engineer (HVAC)

Industry: Construction

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimation Engineer (HVAC/Civil) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering from a reputable university and bring 4–5 years of proven experience in estimation roles within the HVAC/Civil industry. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to ensure accurate project costing and successful collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.

· Analyze labor, material, and equipment requirements for HVAC projects.

· Ensure estimates align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

· Send RFQs and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.

· Maintain effective communication with clients, project managers, and stakeholders.

· Collaborate with internal teams to gather data for accurate estimations.

· Present estimation details clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Prepare and maintain detailed estimation records, including assumptions and methodologies.

· Prepare and follow-up post-award documentation such as breakdown, NTP, Contract Agreement and CAD Drawings.

· Review post-award clarifications and support execution team in scope validation, cost impacts, and variation pricing as per contract requirements.

· Support proposal submissions with comprehensive costing documentation.

· Apply in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems to project estimations.

· Participate in handover meetings with project execution team to explain pricing basis, assumptions, and risk items.

· Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering from a well-reputed university.

· 4–5 years of proven experience in HVAC/Civil estimation roles.

· Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, technologies and installation methodologies.

· Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
