Job Description

Merchandiser – Home Textile Products

Location: Garden Town, Garden Block, Lahore

Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Saturday, Saturday-Half day)

Salary: PKR 55,00 – 80,00 per month

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Saturday – Half Day)

Working Hours: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser for home textile products to manage the end-to-end merchandising process. The ideal candidate will ensure timely product delivery, maintain quality standards, build strong supplier relationships, and coordinate efficiently with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive products.
• Develop merchandising strategies that align customer expectations with company objectives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor production progress and follow up with factories to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
• Perform quality inspections at various stages and address any defects or issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Design, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Track inventory levels, manage stock movement, and forecast requirements to prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, channel partners, and internal teams.
• Prepare reports on production progress, supplier performance, stock levels, and sales performance.
• Ensure compliance with textile industry standards, safety, and internal company policies.
• Support customer feedback handling, after-sales issues, and continuous product improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in home textiles.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and merchandising or inventory management tools.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM).
• Knowledge of sourcing, quality control, and supply chain processes in textiles.
