Job Description
Senior Webmaster / Web Administrator (WordPress + AWS LightSail)
Modality: Home Office
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Pacific Time)
About the Role
At Quiroga Law Office PLLC (U.S. immigration law firm founded by immigrants, for immigrants), we’re looking for a Senior Webmaster / Web Administrator to own our WordPress sites and infrastructure on AWS LightSail, cPanel y servidores CentOS.
You’ll combine web administration, frontend, SEO, tracking, security and automation, working closely with IT, development and marketing.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize WordPress (themes, plugins, performance, security, updates, backups).
- Manage AWS LightSail, DNS, monitoring, scaling, backups and costs.
- Manage hosting with cPanel and CentOS (DNS, email, cron jobs, backups, SSL/TLS).
- Develop and support frontends with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Vue, React.
- Apply technical SEO and performance improvements using Semrush, PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse.
- Configure and maintain tracking with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and pixels.
- Ensure secure setups following OWASP and do basic WCAG accessibility checks.
- Build automations with Zapier, Make or similar to connect websites with CRMs and email tools.
- Provide light support on Python/Django (maintenance, debugging, small updates).
Requirements
- English B2+, comfortable speaking with native speakers.
- Proven experience managing WordPress sites in production.
- Hands-on experience with AWS LightSail, cPanel and CentOS-based servers.
- Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Vue and/or React.
- Solid technical SEO and use of Semrush or similar, plus PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse.
- Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and pixels.
- Experience using Zapier, Make, etc. for automations.
- Knowledge of WCAG and OWASP best practices.
- Nice to have: experience with Python/Django for light maintenance.
