Job Description
A Business Development (BD) and Marketing Expert drives company growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and executing marketing strategies to generate leads. They bridge the gap between sales and marketing, focusing on relationship management, lead generation, and brand expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold Calling: 80-100 calls a day with services brief.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop, execute, and monitor marketing plans, campaigns, and content to promote products/services.
- Lead Generation & Management: Identify, qualify, and track leads through CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Sales & Marketing Collaboration: Align with the sales team to create compelling messaging, proposals, and materials.
- Market Research: Analyze trends, competitor behavior, and consumer data to inform strategic decisions.
- Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in business development, sales, or marketing, often requiring 3-5+ years of experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is often preferred.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to guide strategies.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools.
