The KRAs: Responsibilities
The role leads Cost Control and Inventory Governance, ensuring effective financial discipline, cost optimization, compliance, and profitability within a premium hospitality environment, including:
- Cost control across food, beverage, and operations
- Inventory management and stock variance control
- Daily cost reporting and variance analysis
- Menu costing, recipe costing, and yield control
- Vendor pricing, purchase verification, and audits
- Store audits, stock counts, and reconciliations
- Waste control and pilferage prevention
- Coordination with finance, F&B, and procurement
- Compliance with SOPs and internal controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability
The Right Candidate
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hospitality Management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Cost Controller in a 4 or 5-Star Hotel
- Strong exposure to F&B cost control and inventory systems
- Hands-on experience with hotel ERP / POS systems
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Strong coordination with kitchen, stores, and finance teams
- Sound knowledge of audits, SOPs, and compliance
- High integrity, attention to detail, and discipline
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- A pleasant, professional, and hotel-oriented personality
