Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Trainer to deliver hands-on and theoretical training programs on cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices. The trainer will mentor employees and clients on security awareness, ethical hacking, and risk management, ensuring teams are equipped to handle modern cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct workshops on ethical hacking, network security, application security, and compliance standards.
- Prepare training materials, hands-on labs, assessments, and certification guidance.
- Mentor participants and provide feedback on security practices and skill development.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and industry certifications.
- Support internal teams and clients with security awareness campaigns and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery methods.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or training roles.
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Prior experience delivering cybersecurity workshops, training sessions, or corporate education is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, ethical hacking, risk management, and threat mitigation.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for training diverse audiences.
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for learners of varying skill levels.
- Strong organizational and mentoring abilities.
- Certifications like CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
