Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing store performance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and manage resources will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily operations including inventory management, merchandising, and staffing.
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Manage payroll, budgeting, and bookkeeping activities to ensure financial accuracy.
• Implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent and maintain a skilled workforce.
• Supervise staff schedules and shift management to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Maintain inventory control through regular audits and effective stock management practices.
• Utilize POS systems for transactions while ensuring cash handling procedures are followed.
• Develop marketing strategies to enhance store visibility and drive sales growth.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with strong supervisory skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Proficiency in inventory management, retail math, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
• Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing, and employee orientation processes.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
