Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and empathetic storyteller with a background in drama and film writing who can travel to the field, interview random people, and turn real-life experiences into compelling narratives for various media formats. You should have a natural flair for spotting stories, building rapport with strangers, and structuring raw conversations into engaging scripts or content pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to various locations to identify and interview individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Develop original storylines and script concepts for dramas, short films, documentaries, or digital content.
• Write, edit, and structure narratives based on field interviews and personal creativity.
• Collaborate with production teams to adapt stories into scripts, videos, or written content.
• Ensure stories are emotionally engaging, authentic, and aligned with creative or brand guidelines.
• Maintain strong communication throughout the production cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, journalism, film studies, or a related field.
• Proven ability to write scripts/stories for drama, film, or documentaries (portfolio required).
• Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills—comfortable approaching and conversing with strangers.
• Strong command of spoken and written English [and/or local language]
• Self-motivated, curious, and able to work independently in the field.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and human emotion.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in field reporting, documentary filmmaking, or ethnographic research.
• Basic knowledge of video/audio recording for field interviews.
• Familiarity with social media storytelling formats (Reels, documentaries, mini-series).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt stories for different platforms
