Job Description
Key Responsibilities (Assistant Manager Sales):
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned territories/segments.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company policies and pricing strategies.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance, and customer support) to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
- Provide input for marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and ethical business practices
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Results-driven with strong business acumen.
- Analytical mindset with good presentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of relevant B2B sales experience.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in client handling, business development, and contract negotiation.
