Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Student Advisor to join our team at Aptech Metro Star Gate. The successful candidate will support students and clients by providing guidance on career planning, educational pathways, and job placement assistance, enabling them to make well-informed decisions about their future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic advising on programs, course selection, graduation criteria, and career opportunities.
- Guide students in understanding institutional policies, rules, and procedures.
- Help students create personalized education plans aligned with their career objectives.
- Track students’ academic performance and proactively support those who may be at risk.
- Work closely with faculty and administrative teams to enhance student success.
- Assist in orientation programs, student engagement initiatives, and retention activities.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in academic advising and higher education.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and solution-focused approach.
