Job Description
A well-established distribution organization in Islamabad/Rawalpindi (Humak Industrial Area) near Bahria Town Rwp is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the following position:
Position: Accounts & Finance Assistant / Accountant
Experience: 2-4 years
Location: Islamabad/Rawalpindi
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and record financial transactions in QuickBooks for multiple FMCG distribution entities.
- Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements for accuracy.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory.
- Oversee accounting closing procedures with a focus on the FMCG industry.
- Generate ad hoc management reports as required.
- Conduct field visits to northern setups and prepare monthly audit reports.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of sub-ledger and general ledger accounts.
- Meet all deadlines and schedules in compliance with Service Level Agreements.
- Document workflows, procedures, checklists, and policies related to assigned tasks.
- Adhere to internal procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements & Skills:
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Ability to apply independent judgment to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different organizational levels.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate and share knowledge across different levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented, focused, and able to work in a professional environment.
