Job Description

Job Summary

The Airline Ticketing Agent is responsible for handling airline reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, and cancellations while ensuring accuracy, compliance with airline policies, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Book, issue, reissue, and cancel airline tickets as per customer requests
• Provide accurate information on fares, schedules, routings, and airline policies
• Calculate fares, taxes, and penalties correctly
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and ticket modifications
• Use GDS systems (such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) efficiently
• Ensure compliance with airline rules, IATA regulations, and company procedures
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions
• Resolve ticketing-related issues and discrepancies promptly

Qualifications

• Customer Service and Communication skills
• Ticketing and Reservation Management skills
• Problem-solving and Conflict Resolution skills
• Proficiency in English and Urdu languages
• Experience with travel industry or e-ticketing platforms is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
