Job Description
Responsible for coordinating and optimizing inbound and outbound shipments, a Logistics Specialist manages inventory levels, selects carriers, negotiates rates, and tracks deliveries to ensure timely, cost-effective distribution. Duties include preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with suppliers and warehouses, monitoring KPIs, resolving transit issues, and maintaining ERP/WMS records. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in logistics or supply chain, strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and logistics software. Ability to prioritize, troubleshoot shipments, and work with cross-functional teams is required.
