About Division
A market-leading developer of software products for the automotive repair industry; our R.O. Writer shop management system (www.rowriter.com) is currently deployed in over 4,00 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
Position
We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer with strong experience in native iOS and Android development to join our team. This role will focus on building and enhancing mobile applications that deliver a seamless and performant user experience. The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Karachi resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices for mobile development.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile application performance and user experience.
- Contribute to improving mobile engineering processes, tooling, and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, including native iOS and Android.
- Strong proficiency in Swift/Objective-C for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, mobile data storage, and offline-first mobile design patterns.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows for mobile apps.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and debugging skills
