We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in FMCG to oversee and drive sales operations within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in achieving business growth, leading a dynamic sales team, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
– Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
– Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the regional sales team to meet and exceed sales targets while fostering a culture of high performance.
– Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
– Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the FMCG sector.
– Sales Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales performance data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
– Budget Management: Develop and manage regional sales budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
– Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Experience:
-Minimum 8–10 years of sales experience in FMCG, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
– Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large territories.
– Strong understanding of FMCG sales dynamics, including distribution networks and retail operations.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
– Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
