Job Description
We are hiring a Confluent Kafka Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain Confluent Platform and Apache Kafka clusters for high-availability streaming applications. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities include cluster provisioning, performance tuning, monitoring and alerting, upgrades, backup and recovery, access control (RBAC), and incident response. You will automate tasks using IaC and CI/CD practices.
Requirements: 3+ years managing Kafka/Confluent, strong Linux skills, experience with Kubernetes, Terraform or Ansible, knowledge of Kafka security (TLS/SASL), scripting (Python/Bash), and troubleshooting distributed systems.
