Job Description

Job Title: Graduate and Alumni Program Coordinator

Reports to: Graduates and Alumni Program Manager

Job Overview: The Alumni Coordinator will be responsible to mentor and guide DIL graduates through counselling and mentoring session. He/she will also be responsible to guide students eligible for scholarship for higher education, collect their application, process and track the progress. Candidate will be responsible for overall implementation of the project activities and reporting.

Responsibilities and duties:

    • Deliver career counselling workshops with DIL students and graduates.
    • Develop and maintain profile of individual student w.r.t. their ambitions and align with potential university and programs.
    • Create data base for all institutes offering higher education in DIL operational areas
    • Ensure students are aware of admission criteria, dates etc. of their potential university
    • Support and guide students in filling application forms and admission procedures
    • Conduct outreach to motivate DIL graduates and communities for higher education through scholarship
    • Process and verify scholarship application while ensuring all protocols are followed as per the policy.
    • Ensure each student receives adequate mentorship for continuing education.
    • Connect and follow-up with DIL graduates to enable them to reach their career goals
    • Overall project coordination with respective team members and partners for project related activities
    • Develop quarterly and annual progress report

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or any other relevant field.

Technical Skills:

  • Must have knowledge and understanding of challenges in marginalized areas of Pakistan.
  • Must be knowledgeable about various degree programs and professional fields in Pakistan
  • Certification, course or prior knowledge of career counselling is a plus
  • Must have experience in teaching or conducting trainings
  • Must know how to generate reports and presentations on different mediums (PowerPoint, Canva)

Behavioral Skills:

  • Should have experience in teaching or conducting trainings
  • Should have good research skills
  • Should have good communication skills
  • Should have good report writing skills
  • Should be able to multitask
  • Must have willingness to learn and take up challenges
  • Must be willing to travel in field
