Job Description
At Dubizzle Labs’ Pakistan engineering office (300+), we seek a motivated Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) to build world-class products that support rapid growth across 10 countries. You should have 1–2 years hands-on Rails experience, strong system and database design skills, query optimization, solid data structures and algorithms, and a clear grasp of web architecture, RESTful services, and background job processing (Sidekiq/ActiveJob/Resque). Responsibilities include building and consuming REST APIs, integrating third-party systems, and collaborating in cross-functional teams. Nice-to-have: AWS (EC2/S3/RDS/CloudWatch), Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, experience with high-traffic or multi-tenant apps, CI/CD, caching (Redis/Memcache), API versioning and performance tuning.
