Job Description
Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with basic computer knowledge to help our company collect and organize lead information from various freelancing and business platforms. The selected candidate will review different platforms, identify relevant leads, and manually enter the required information into Excel or Google Sheets. The primary purpose of this role is to generate maximum and highly relevant leads for the company by consistently identifying potential leads, extracting accurate information, and ensuring that the collected data supports ongoing business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
The following are the responsibilities that the individual will be required to perform during the job:
● Visit the assigned online sources daily and monitor new activity related to software service needs.
● Strictly follow the criteria and instructions outlined in the official document provided by the BDO, ensuring every data entry meets the required standards.
● Review multiple sections such as reviews, job postings, client feedback, service inquiries, and profile details to identify potential clients.
● Carefully read each post or inquiry to determine whether it matches the company’s service offerings.
● Extract required client information such as name, company (if available), posted requirement, relevant notes, and the link to the source.
● Copy and record the collected information accurately into the provided Excel sheet or Google Spreadsheet.
● Ensure that each entry is complete, properly formatted, and matches the company’s standard structure.
● Maintain an organized and updated data sheet throughout the day without leaving incomplete entries.
● Meet the daily and weekly data extraction targets assigned by the Business Development Officer (BDO) or team lead.
● Re-check entries to correct spelling mistakes, missing details, or formatting errors before final submission.
● Report daily progress, completed entries, and any issues directly to the team lead. ● Maintain confidentiality of all collected data and internal company information.
● Follow the exact guidelines and keywords provided during training to ensure correct client selection.
● Identify any unusual or repeated problems (like broken links or irrelevant posts) and immediately inform the team lead.
● Stay consistent, disciplined, and focused while performing repetitive tasks for long durations.
● Perform additional data-related or research tasks assigned as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Basic computer knowledge (copy/paste, browsing, opening links, saving files)
● Ability to use:
○ Web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
○ Excel or Google Sheets (basic level)
● Ability to read and understand simple English content
● Good attention to detail
● Ability to follow instructions and work independently
● Basic internet research skills
● Punctuality and reliability
