Job Description
Assistant to Doctor (Medical Assistant)
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Assistant to Doctor / Medical Assistant to support medical professionals in daily clinical and administrative tasks. The role involves assisting doctors during patient consultations, managing patient records, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth clinic operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Support
- Assist doctors during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for consultations and treatments.
- Take and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, weight).
- Handle basic medical equipment and instruments.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of examination rooms.
- Support in sample collection (if required).
Administrative Support
- Manage patient appointments and schedules.
- Maintain patient medical records and files.
- Handle front desk queries and patient coordination.
- Prepare prescriptions and reports for doctor’s review.
- Manage billing and basic documentation.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and data privacy.
Patient Care & Communication
- Guide patients regarding procedures and medicines.
- Provide basic patient counseling and comfort.
- Handle patient concerns politely and professionally.
- Coordinate between patients, nurses, and doctors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Certificate in Medical Assistant / Nursing / Healthcare (preferred).p
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs60,00.00 – Rs70,00.00 per month
