Job Description
eServMD, a leading healthcare services company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing VOB to join our team. If you have a strong background in medical billing, a keen eye for accuracy, and a passion for ensuring compliance, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
- Contact insurance companies to verify patient insurance coverage
- Maintain a system for initial and subsequent verification of benefits
- Prepare call notes, initiate or execute the corrective measures
- Record the actions and post the notes on the customer’s revenue cycle platform.
- Use appropriate client specific call note standards for documentation
- Be in the center of ethical behavior and never on the sidelines
Requirement:
- Should have worked as a VOB Specialist for at least 2+ years with medical billing service providers.
- Experience can be anywhere between 1-2 years.
- Good knowledge of revenue cycle, Eligibility & Benefits Verification and Prior Authorization
- Positive attitude to solve problems
- Strong communication skills
- Graduate degree in any field
