Job Description

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with a strong background in custom development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working beyond standard themes and plugins and should be able to build, customize, and extend WordPress functionality based on project requirements.

This role requires hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript, and WooCommerce customization, including writing custom code to implement new features and business logic.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress websites according to specific functional requirements
• Write clean, secure, and scalable custom PHP code for WordPress
• Customize and extend WooCommerce functionality (hooks, filters, custom features)
• Implement custom plugins, themes, and functionality as needed
• Work with JavaScript for frontend interactions and dynamic features
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and maintain existing WordPress projects
• Collaborate with the team to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong knowledge of PHP (WordPress core, themes, and plugins)
• Good command of JavaScript (including jQuery or modern JS as required)
• Hands-on experience with WooCommerce customization and development
• Ability to write custom code instead of relying only on ready-made plugins
• Understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and database structure
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience developing custom WordPress plugins
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Understanding of security and performance best practices
• Experience working on custom business logic or complex workflows

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
