Job Description
The Credentialing Specialist manages provider enrollment, verification, and credential files to ensure compliance with payers and regulatory bodies. Responsibilities include collecting and validating licenses, certifications, CAQH records, running primary source verifications, submitting applications to insurers, tracking re-credentialing deadlines, and maintaining accurate databases. Candidates should have 2+ years of healthcare credentialing or provider relations experience, knowledge of payer requirements, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and familiarity with electronic credentialing platforms. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strict confidentiality required. Certification (e.g., NCQA/CCS or equivalent) is a plus.
