About the job
We are looking for a Sales Director who has experience driving revenue and profitability. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in IT solutions and services who can build and manage high performing sales teams, develop and implement sales strategies, enhance marketing initiatives, work cross functionally with other departments and be a liaison between sales and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet company targets and expand the customer base.
- Lead the sales team, setting performance metrics and driving results through effective coaching and leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring long-term customer success.
Business Development
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and business development prospects.
- Continuously analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
Sales Operations
· Implement tools, processes, and best practices to optimize sales operations and pipeline management.
- Track sales performance using KPIs and prepare regular sales reports for executive leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Procurement, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure the sales process runs smoothly.
· Collaborate with Marketing to create effective B2B and B2C campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
- Position the company’s brand, services, and products competitively in the IT market.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform strategic direction.
- Oversee content creation, lead generation, product launches, and events to support sales goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- 10–12 years of experience in sales, with at least 6-8 years in a leadership role in the IT industry.
- Proven experience managing sales teams.
- Deep knowledge of cloud solutions, IT Hardware sales, SaaS, IT infrastructure, or cybersecurity products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver results in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT products, software solutions, and digital technologies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics), ERP systems.
- Strong network of enterprise-level contacts is a plus.
