Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Commodity Dealing Merchandiser to manage day-to-day trading operations, negotiate deals, monitor market trends, and ensure smooth execution of commodity transactions. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and hands-on experience in commodity handling or trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute buying and selling of commodities as per company strategy
- Build and maintain supplier and buyer relationships
- Monitor domestic and international market trends, pricing, and demand
- Coordinate logistics, documentation and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records of deals, contracts, and inventory
- Support senior traders in planning and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and trade regulations
Requirements
- Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Preferably 5 years or more (Commodity Trading / Merchandising)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good understanding of market dynamics and pricing
- Proficiency in MS Excel & trade documentation
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure situations.
