Job Description

KBM, a reputed UK- based Chartered Certified Accountants firm part of a group of companies providing services in the fields of Accountancy, Taxation, Consultancy, Payroll, Automotive financial solutions to its UK Based clients with its Head Office in London having established its international office in Lahore, Pakistan

KBM invites applications for the position of Experienced Accountant to be based in our Lahore office to manage the work done for UK office.

The Role

  • Oversee and manage a team of bookkeeping
  • Oversee the delivery of quality information to senior managers and to the other departments within the practice
  • Build relationships throughout the practice to ensure cohesive working between bookkeeping team and departments such as accounts, payroll and tax.
  • Alongside the senior managers, identify and deliver process improvements and drive positive change, focusing on efficiencies and output.
  • Review of VAT returns, bookkeeping files and supporting schedules.
  • Ability to resolve internal and external queries arising from bookkeeping review.
  • Review of detailed management accounts.
  • Deliver training, guidance and development of the team
  • Review timetables for timely bookkeeping/management accounts delivery
  • Preparation of FRS 102 1A standard accounts and FRS 105 accounts
  • Produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts
  • Fulfill any relevant additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Excellent UK VAT knowledge to include:

  • Cash Accounting
  • Invoice Accounting
  • Partial Exemption
  • Flat Rate Scheme
  • Margin Scheme
  • Export/Import VAT and Duty
  • Property Rules

Person Specification

  • Proven management and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.

  • Excellent understanding of double entry system

Experienced in following accounting software

  • Excellent knowledge of Xero essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of Sage Accounts 50.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel essential.
  • Good knowledge of QuickBooks preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of other accounting software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,00. 00 – Rs120,00.00 per month depending on individual capability.
