Job Description

Biotech Energy Pvt. Ltd required Construction Engineer for its Sheikhupura plant. As a plant and mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, repairing and the general upkeep of plant machinery. This may involve investigating problems and coming up with solutions.

The role of a plant and mechanical engineer involves the following duties:

• Designing and implementing equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
• Investigating and testing ideas to improve existing systems or to overcome machinery problems
• Making parts and installing and testing machinery
• Carrying out maintenance and identifying and repairing faults in equipment
• Solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers
• Managing projects
• Planning and designing new production processes
• Working with other professionals, within and outside the engineering sector
• Monitoring and commissioning plant and systems.
• Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements
• Designing and developing prototypes
• Analyzing and testing prototypes and each revision of a device
• Supervising the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members
• Developing, initiating and managing all phases of projects
• Preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing suggestions for correcting errors
• Collaborating with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources

Qualification & Experience:

Construction Engineers must have a B.E./BSc degree in mechanical engineering with deep knowledge of theoretical coursework, hands-on projects and training with various programs that include computer programming, power systems and technically oriented material subjects, like hydraulics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.

• 4~5 years in mechanical construction of process plants
• Experience in erection of static & rotating equipment, piping, structures
• Strong site coordination and contractor management skills

Computer Skill Requirements:

• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD drawing review

Pay: Rs150,00.00 – Rs160,00.00 per month
