Job Description

Warehouse Operations

• Assist in supervising daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, finished goods, spare parts, and consumables.
• Monitor inward and outward movement of stock as per approved documentation.
• Support production departments by ensuring timely issuance of materials.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/manual systems.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor minimum, maximum, and re-order stock levels.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory and report to management.

Team Supervision

• Assist in managing warehouse staff including storekeepers, helpers, and loaders.
• Allocate duties, monitor attendance, and ensure discipline.
• Provide on-job guidance and ensure productivity targets are met.

Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure proper documentation for GRNs, issue slips, delivery challans, and gate passes.
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory and dispatch reports.
• Coordinate with accounts for stock reconciliation and audits.

Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and transport teams.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse/store operations (manufacturing or industrial setup preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory control practices.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred).
• Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety and material handling standards.
