Job Title: Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) Underwriter

Job Description

A U.S.-based client is seeking an experienced Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) Underwriter to join their team. This role focuses on underwriting cash advance applications, reviewing merchant financials, and determining loan eligibility based on risk and lending criteria. This is a long-term opportunity with strong potential to grow into a small underwriting team (3–5 members) for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and verify merchant information and supporting documents
• Analyze financial statements and merchant data to assess loan eligibility
• Underwrite Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) applications
• Make informed underwriting decisions based on risk assessment and lending guidelines
• Communicate underwriting findings clearly with internal teams
• Support and contribute to the improvement of underwriting processes

Required Skills

• Strong hands on experience in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) underwriting
• Ability to analyze financial statements and merchant performance data
• High attention to detail with strong judgment and decision making skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

Required Experience

• Proven experience working with Merchant Cash Advance companies or lenders
• Hands-on experience as an MCA Underwriter or in a similar role
• Familiarity with MCA workflows, documentation, and risk evaluation processes

Working Schedule

• Sunday to Thursday
• U.S. business hours 9AM TO 5PM(US Time zone)
