Job Description

O Levels History & Geography Teacher

Institution: The Orchid School – North Nazimabad Chapter

Residents of North Nazimabad will be given preference

We are seeking a qualified and passionate O Levels History & Geography Teacher to join our academic team.

Responsibilities:

• Teach O Level History and Geography in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum
• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons
• Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations
• Design worksheets, tests, and revision materials
• Assess and monitor students’ academic progress
• Maintain accurate academic records and reports
• Encourage critical thinking, analysis, and research skills
• Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and school management
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and academic activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Education, or related field
• B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred
• O Level/Cambridge teaching certification or experience (preferred)
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience
• Strong command of English (spoken and written)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and examination requirements
