More about this role
What you need to know about this position:
The Shopper Marketing Executive is the bridge between the Brand Team’s vision and the Sales Team’s reality. You will be responsible for “winning at the first moment of truth”—the point where the shopper decides to pick a Dairy Milk or a pack of Tang over a competitor.
Core Mission: Convert brand strategy into high-impact Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM), manage the “Trade Marketing” budget with zero leakage, and ensure that what is designed in the office gets installed correctly in different retail environments & ensure the tool being constructed has commercial viability behind it.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
We aren’t just looking for a coordinator; we’re looking for a Market Catalyst. The ideal candidate brings:
The “Vendor Whisperer” Edge: The ability to push vendors for better rates and faster turnaround times without sacrificing quality.
Eye for Aesthetics vs. Utility: Knowing that a display might look beautiful in a mock-up but won’t fit on a standard Pakistani shop counter.
Hyper-Local Insights: Understanding how shopper behavior changes during peak seasons like Ramadan (for Tang) or Valentine’s/Eids (for Cadbury).
Commercial acumen: Understanding the business rationale of making a tool and taking decisions as per ROI of the tool.
Education / Certifications:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred: MBA from a reputable institute
Job specific requirements:
Experience: 2–4 years in Trade Marketing or Shopper Marketing, ideally within the FMCG sector.
Budgeting: Proficiency in Excel/SAP for tracking BTL (Below the Line) spends and ensuring ROI on trade tools.
Project Management: Proven track record of managing end-to-end POSM cycles—from design adaptation to vendor printing to warehouse dispatch.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of retail audit data and the ability to read sales trends to justify marketing spends.
Travel requirements:
High Mobility: This is not a desk-only job. Requires 30–40% travel within the Pakistan to conduct “Market Execution Excellence” audits.
Work schedule:
Standard: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Seasonal Flexibility: Must be willing to work extended hours or weekends during high-stakes periods
No Relocation support available
