Job Description
Position: Business Development Officer (Upwork & LinkedIn)
Location: Lahore (On-site)
Experience: 1–3 years (Upwork + LinkedIn BD mandatory)
Timings: Morning Shift
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive Business Development Officer who can engage potential clients, manage negotiations, and help close long-term projects. The ideal candidate has a solid technical understanding and can confidently communicate with clients, project managers, and design teams to translate business needs into clear project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients via Upwork and LinkedIn for long-term projects
- Handle end-to-end Upwork bidding, proposal writing, and client communication
- Conduct client discussions to understand requirements, scope, and timelines
- Collaborate with Project Managers and UI/UX Designers to define and document initial requirements
- Participate in negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures
- Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams during pre-sales and onboarding
- Keep clients updated on project progress, milestones, and ongoing developments
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-3 Years of experience in Upwork Business Development and LinkedIn lead generation
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and technical concepts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to gather, document, and translate client requirements accurately
- Experience working closely with project managers and design teams
- Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented
Nice to Have
- Experience in IT services, software houses, or startups
- Familiarity with CRM tools and proposal management
