Job Description

Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Logistics

Ravisn LTD is hiring a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate and qualify leads for our international logistics and freight forwarding services. This role focuses on identifying potential clients, initiating conversations through outbound channels, and booking qualified meetings for the sales or management team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Identify potential customers such as importers, exporters, e-commerce sellers, and SMEs
  • Build targeted lead lists using Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Maps, online directories, and other platforms
  • Conduct daily outreach through cold calling, follow-ups, email sequences, and LinkedIn messages

Qualification & Appointment Setting

  • Qualify leads based on shipment need, volume, route, timeline, and budget
  • Book meetings or calls for the Sales Manager or Management Team
  • Collect basic shipment information (origin, destination, product type, weight/volume)

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate lead records in Google Sheets, HubSpot, or any CRM system
  • Update lead status regularly (New, Contacted, Interested, Meeting Booked, Closed/Lost)
  • Submit weekly performance reports

Coordination

  • Coordinate with operations and quotation teams for timely responses
  • Follow up with warm leads until conversion or clear closure

Experience & Background

  • 0–1 year (fresh candidates can apply if communication skills are strong)
  • 1–2 years preferred in SDR, telesales, customer support, B2B sales, logistics, or e-commerce
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / MS Excel (CRM experience is a plus)

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Confidence in phone calls and professional WhatsApp communication
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and objection handling
  • Organized, consistent, and able to follow scripts and SOPs

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, e-commerce, or B2B sales
  • LinkedIn lead generation or cold email experience
  • Basic understanding of shipping terms (air/sea freight, DDP/DDU)
