Job Summary

The position is responsible to acquire the prospect customer with a solution-based approach by understanding the customer’s business needs for lending (specifically Home finance) with the aim of enhancing revenue, identifying opportunities and providing value added solutions, therefore achieving long term sustainable growth

Key Responsibilities

Assists clients in navigating the mortgage application process, offering expert advice on Home Finance options and financial products.

Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, as well as a thorough understanding of mortgage regulations and market trends.

Evaluate and recommend approval of commercial and residential real estate finance.

Advise borrowers on financial status and methods of payments.

Meet in person with prospect customers to obtain information for loan applications, perform need base analysis and to answer questions about the process.

Analyse applicants’ financial status, credit worthiness, and property expected value to determine feasibility of granting loans.

Explain to customers different types of available product options as well as the terms and features of those services / products with special emphasis on Home finance

Meet Business objectives by delivering Month on Month sales budgets

On boarding (secured Asset commercial booking) as per the score card requirement.

Evaluate and recommend approval of commercial and residential real estate finance.

Stay abreast with changing market dynamics and developments and act in accordance to customer’s need.

Ensure compliance with group policy standards, local laws and regulations, and controls and procedures of bank and business.

Responsible to adhere and commit to Group code of Conduct.

Responsible to report all irregular/suspicious activities to the line manager.

Responsible to maintain good behaviour & integrity with customers and internal stakeholders at all times

To ensure that all terms & agreements in contract are understood and followed during the course of the job

To stay equipped on Anti Money Laundering/Customer Due Deligence guidelines/policies/procedures/compliance framework and audits

Skills and Experience

Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

In-depth knowledge of home finance products and services

Effective negotiation skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Hand-on experience in mortgage lending, home finance, or related financial services
