Job Description

Job Openings: Merchandiser & Senior Merchandiser

Company: American Safety Power Tool (Leading PPE Manufacturer)

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Positions: Merchandiser (1-3 years experience) | Senior Merchandiser (3-5 years experience)

Industry Requirement: PPE Manufacturing / Workwear / Technical Textiles only.

About the Role:

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Merchandisers who specialize in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) / technical garments sector. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in managing orders from sampling to shipment, specifically within PPE manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end merchandising for international buyers in the PPE/workwear segment.
• Coordinate with production, sourcing, and quality teams to ensure timely order execution.
• Develop tech packs, supervise sample development, and ensure compliance with buyer specifications.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of shipments.
• Act as the key liaison between the buyer and the factory for all order-related communication.
• Conduct inline and final inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain order status reports for management and clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Merchandising, or a relevant field.
• 1 to 5 years of solid merchandising experience, specifically within PPE manufacturing (safety wear, workwear, technical garments).
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and production processes related to protective clothing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems.
