Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

Assist and maintain process plant operations to achieve smooth and uninterrupted supply of gas, crude, condensate & LPG to the customer as per the contractual obligations and management’s advice.

Maintain process parameters and execute troubleshooting of the process equipment of production facilities, off-sites and logistics while effectively coordinate with maintenance / support departments to assure effective management of operations as per design and required sales parameters.

Assist in new/current projects with respect to field condition and specifications of all the production equipment vis-à-vis those as specified by the vendor documents or data sheets. Contribute in resolving engineering/ operational problems by;

Provide inputs pertinent to technical studies, collect and analyze information, evaluate components, materials, suppliers, design integration issues and review specifications & safety standards.

Develop simulations, process block diagrams, PFDs, P&IDs and conduct engineering calculations while governing lab experiments / testing methods if required. Propose recommendations for improvements to assure increased productivity and efficiency.

Prepare technical database & spreadsheets. This would include but not limited to following roles:

Prepare production/engineering reports on daily and monthly basis. Collect, analyze and summarize data & trends; maintain data and reports/ presentations.

Prepare monthly sales and utility billing figures.

Contribute & implement Corporate and SD&HSE policies / procedures, Local operative regulations & Group Guidelines, Life Saving Rules in production facilities.

Qualification:

Bachelors’ in Chemical Engineering

Professional competencies:

Sound Technical knowledge in relevant discipline with respect to operations and maintenance of oil & gas processing facility.

Understanding of engineering calculations pertinent to process /equipment involved of oil and gas industry.

Sound understanding of HMI’s / Control Systems.

Understanding of comprehension of technical processes, budgeting, operation & maintenance procedures of pertinent equipment.

Good understanding of Permit to work system.

Familiar with P&IDs, PFDs and schematic drawings

Adequate knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment standards in the industry.

Skills:

Good problem solving ability.

Good decision making and analytical skills.

Can demonstrate adaptable and Flexible behavior as per work nature demand.

Capability to exhibit Time Management and coordination with other colleagues.

Ability to understand the implications of new information for its effective implementation.

Experience:

Relevant experience of 3~5 years.
