Job Description

We are a leading educational institution dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced IELTS Instructor to join our team and support learners in reaching their desired band scores for academic or immigration purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one or group IELTS preparation classes (Academic & General Training).
• Plan and deliver lessons that target all four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
• Assess students’ progress through mock exams, assignments, and practice tests.
• Provide individualized feedback and strategies for improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IELTS exam formats and criteria.
• Prepare and update teaching materials in line with current exam standards.
• Motivate students and build their confidence in using English in an academic context.
• Keep records of student attendance and performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum *1–2 years of experience* teaching IELTS or ESL/EFL.
• IELTS Band Score 6.5 or higher* (with no band less than 7.0) preferred.
• Familiarity with the latest IELTS test formats and scoring criteria.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach both in-person and online (if required).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, or other English language teaching certifications.
• Experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexibility to teach evenings or weekends, as needed.
