Job Description
We seek a WHONET Data Specialist to manage and analyze microbiology and antimicrobial resistance data using WHONET software. You will ensure data quality, standardize inputs, and generate routine reports for surveillance programs.
Responsibilities include data entry and validation, database maintenance, producing dashboards and summaries, training lab personnel on WHONET, and collaborating with epidemiologists and stakeholders to support decision-making.
Qualifications: bachelor’s in microbiology, public health, or related field; experience with WHONET and AMR datasets; strong data-cleaning and Excel skills; attention to detail and good communication. Prior experience with SQL or R is a plus.
