Job Description

Job Summary

The Educational Counselor is responsible for advising students on international education opportunities, guiding them through university selection, admissions, and visa processes, and ensuring a high level of student satisfaction while meeting enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding study abroad options including UK, Australia, Canada, USA, Europe, and other destinations.
• Assess students’ academic background, financial capacity, and career goals to recommend suitable universities and programs.
• Provide complete guidance on admission requirements, application procedures, timelines, and documentation.
• Assist students with application submission, offer letters, acceptance process, and enrollment confirmation.
• Guide students on visa requirements, documentation, interview preparation, and compliance with embassy regulations.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with leads, prospects, and enrolled students to ensure conversions and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with international university representatives and internal processing teams for smooth case handling.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including leads, follow-ups, and application status.
• Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets assigned by management.
• Participate in education expos, seminars, and marketing activities when required.
• Stay updated with changes in immigration policies, university requirements, and new programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in international education counseling (fresh candidates with strong skills may apply).
• Strong knowledge of international admission and visa processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and work under targets.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Professional appearance and client-focused attitude.
