Job Summary

Pathways Global Education is seeking a motivated and student-focused Education Counselor (Study Abroad) to guide students through international education opportunities. The counselor will advise students on suitable countries, universities, programs, admissions, and visa processes, while ensuring excellent customer service and enrollment targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents on study abroad options (UK, Australia, Canada, USA, Europe, etc.)
• Assess student profiles and recommend appropriate courses, universities, and pathways
• Provide complete guidance on admission requirements, application procedures, and timelines
• Assist students with application documentation, SOPs, and university submissions
• Guide students through visa application processes and interview preparation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of university offerings, intakes, scholarships, and visa rules
• Follow up with leads via calls, walk-ins, and digital platforms
• Maintain accurate student records and CRM updates
• Coordinate with partner universities and internal admissions teams
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual enrollment targets
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional activities

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (Education, Business, or related field preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in study abroad counseling
• Strong understanding of international education systems and visa processes
• Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle pressure and meet targets
• Proficient in MS Office and basic CRM systems
• Professional, ethical, and student-centric approach
