We are seeking a performance-driven Senior Email Marketer (eCommerce) to lead and scale our email marketing strategy with a strong focus on revenue growth, customer retention, and lifecycle marketing. This role requires deep expertise in eCommerce email automation, segmentation, and campaign optimization to maximize customer lifetime value and drive repeat purchases.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute end-to-end eCommerce email marketing strategies, including promotional campaigns, newsletters, and automated flows.
- Build, manage, and optimize revenue-driving email flows such as welcome series, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, and loyalty campaigns.
- Develop advanced audience segmentation and personalization strategies based on customer behavior, purchase history, and engagement data.
- Analyze and report on key eCommerce email KPIs including open rate, CTR, conversion rate, revenue per recipient, AOV impact, and deliverability.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives across subject lines, content, CTAs, timing, and templates to improve performance and ROI.
- Collaborate closely with design, content, performance marketing, and merchandising teams to align email campaigns with promotions and product launches.
- Ensure all email communications are on-brand, error-free, and optimized for mobile and desktop devices.
- Manage email list growth, hygiene, and compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other anti-spam regulations.
- Stay updated on eCommerce email marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior team members when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, preferably within an eCommerce environment.
- Strong experience using Klaviyo and Omnisend for campaign execution, automation, and reporting.
- Proven expertise in eCommerce lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalization.
- Solid understanding of email deliverability, performance analytics, and revenue attribution.
- Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for customizing and troubleshooting email templates.
- Experience with SMS marketing integration and omnichannel campaigns.
- Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other eCommerce platforms.
- Experience with A/B testing, CRO, and customer retention strategies.
- Relevant certifications in email or digital marketing (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Google).
