Job Description

Area Sales Manager

Gender: Equal Opportunity (Both Genders Eligible)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Mode of Work: Onsite — Field Based (Distributor & Territory Management)

Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Timings: 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM

About the Role

Scaleup Connect is hiring Area Sales Managers for a client under the Itel brand portfolio. This role is commercially central, driving distributor development, sub-dealer coverage, and sales execution across assigned territories. The position blends field operations, relationship management, and structured reporting to ensure consistent sell-in and sell-out performance across the channel network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and strengthen distributor and channel networks within assigned territories
  • Link sub-dealers with distributors to consolidate purchasing and uplift sales volumes
  • Drive monthly sales targets and deploy structured territory coverage plans
  • Conduct market visits to assess performance, pricing, competitive activity, and stock health
  • Push sell-out at sub-dealer level and ensure efficient stock rotation across the channel
  • Produce reporting and insight-based feedback for management decision-making
  • Recommend initiatives for improving penetration, coverage, and distributor performance

Core Competencies & Mandatory Skills

  • Channel sales, distribution, or retail network experience
  • Territory management and execution capability
  • Target-driven approach with commercial selling mindset
  • Comfort with field-intensive operations
  • Strong market intelligence and competitive awareness

Tools & Working Knowledge

  • Basic MS Excel & reporting spreadsheets
  • Field visit logs and channel reporting tools
  • WhatsApp / field communication channels

Education

  • Intermediate / Graduation preferred

Experience

  • 1–2 years in relevant roles
  • Fresh candidates may be considered for trainee tracks
