Job Description
TechBiz Global GmbH seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design and maintain real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines. You will build Kafka Connect and Debezium CDC integrations from MySQL/PostgreSQL into AWS S3, GCS, and BigQuery; implement data modeling, schema evolution, and partitioning in the Bronze layer; ensure Kafka reliability and monitoring; optimize performance and cost; and contribute Python automation and deployment scripts. Requirements: 5+ years in data engineering, strong Apache Kafka/Kafka Connect and Debezium experience, proficiency with MySQL/Postgres, AWS S3, GCS, BigQuery, Python, ETL/ELT, and data lake concepts. Nice-to-have: Docker/Kubernetes, Airflow/Dagster, Terraform/CloudFormation, and data versioning tools.
